Due to the custom nature of many of our LOTI's – LORD OF THE ICE, many will take at least 4 to 6 weeks before they are ready to ship, and this may be extended if the LOTI – LORD OF THE ICE is particularly specialized or personalized.

The exceptions to the rule are pre-made LOTI’s – LORD OF THE ICE accessories. If they are in stock, they should be delivered within 5 to 7 business days after payment has been processed.

We will inform you of what happened, why and any changes to the item you ordered. If the new conditions are unacceptable to you, you have the right to cancel the order at that time.

Shipping times are estimated and provided by our shipping providers. Once an order leaves our warehouse, it is the responsibility of the delivery provider to ensure on-time delivery. If you experience any delays, please email our dedicated technical support at loti@tensai.pt. and we will work with the shipping provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Based on normal lead time plus product production time, general pre-sale time is 4-6 weeks. The specific time will be clearly marked in the product description.

Please keep in mind that shipping times provided on our website are from our designated shipping provider and are approximate estimates. Once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse, the responsibility for timely delivery lies with the designated delivery/transport provider within the specified time frame. Global supply chain challenges may also occasionally affect shipping times.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight, dimensions and destination of your order. All shipping costs are passed directly to the customer. For professional clients, these costs are defined in advance between the client and our sales team.

Shipping is calculated after the first deposit. You can check the quoted shipping cost at any time by contacting our customer service team.

Please note that additional customs duties, taxes or fees may apply upon delivery, which are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information about possible charges before placing an order.

We are not responsible for delays or incorrect deliveries resulting from incorrect shipping information.

1. Before signing any paperwork, thoroughly inspect the items delivered to you:

      a. Check for visible signs of damage such as dents, scratches or holes and be sure to note this when signing the delivery receipt. A signed delivery receipt, without damage notes, represents acceptance of the complete order in perfect condition. Failure to report damage may result in delayed or denied shipping claims.

2. Count all the pieces in your package and make sure they are accounted for.

       a. Immediately report any missing parts within 48 hours by emailing directly to loti@tensai.pt. or through our contact page.

3. If “hidden” damage occurs (damage not visible at the time of delivery), report it immediately by sending an email directly to loti@tensai.pt.

Refusing to accept your order upon delivery for any reason other than damaged product or shipping error will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus any and all applicable shipping charges.

We deliver worldwide with no additional fees or taxes due upon delivery. The price at checkout is the final price you pay. In rare cases, orders may be charged customs fees by your government. These fees are not imposed by our website and you will be responsible for the charges. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we have no control over customs authorities in your country or any other country. Please contact your local customs office for more information about customs duties, fees and taxes.

We do not refund import duties or taxes. It is each customer's responsibility to pay import duties and taxes from their countries. If you refuse to pay your fees and your order is returned to us, we will refund the amount of the purchase price minus all shipping/customs costs. The item must be intact and resellable for a refund to be applied. The exact amount will be provided to you via email upon receipt of the refund.

Note: When a package is returned to us, we pay shipping twice. Once when we originally sent it to you and once when we returned it. Both shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount +5% administrative costs.

Yes, this has been a major concern for our project from the beginning. The electrical and refrigeration system was designed and built by specialized engineers. In addition, we rely on external entities to certify this product. This means that the equipment is tested by accredited laboratories and complies with CE marking.

This equipment has an IPX4 protection index, which means it is protected against water splashes.

LOTI is connected to a standard 220V~ socket and uses 10 amps.

The amount of energy LOTI consumes depends on various factors such as ambient temperature, desired water temperature, frequency of use, and operating time. You should carefully read the equipment manual to ensure that you follow all safety instructions during product installation. After securely installing the equipment, simply fill LOTI with water using a hose and connect it to the power source. To drain the water, use a submersible valve connected to the same hose.

LOTI is designed for use in both indoor and outdoor spaces. However, there are some important recommendations to preserve your equipment: If installed outdoors, IT MUST BE PLACED IN THE SHADE! Direct exposure to sunlight can damage all products, surfaces, and materials.

Very simple! Just use a hose, bucket, or container and add water at room temperature. Once it’s filled to about 70% of its total volume, it’s ready to enjoy your first cold bath experience in LOTI.

LOTI is insulated at the bottom and sides, meaning it will maintain the water temperature longer than expected!

Depending on environmental conditions and the initial water temperature, LOTI has the ability to cool down by at least 1ºC per hour upon first start-up. LOTI does not need to be turned off after use, as the device operates stably at this temperature 24 hours a day,7 days a week, making cold bathing convenient anytime. To avoid new startups, it is advisable not to turn off the equipment between recurrent uses, thus achieving greater energy and thermal efficiency of the device.

Cold therapy and ice baths in general are considered safe, but they can negatively affect individuals with cardiovascular issues. If you have any underlying health conditions, it is advisable to consult your doctor before engaging in cold water immersion baths.

Exposure to cold should never be done alone and should occur in a controlled environment, with the ability to safely exit the cold environment. Prolonged exposure to cold can lead to hypothermia, shock, unconsciousness, and other cold-related illnesses, so it’s important to facilitate your cold immersion routine and start with someone experienced.

If you understand your limits and engage in cold immersion or cold exposure therapy in a controlled, timed, and measured manner, the body is more than capable of tolerating and benefiting from exposure to cold water.

We believe that regular practice has more benefits. According to studies, ideally, between 3 to 5 times a week can have a beneficial impact on your health.

However, if you expose LOTI to direct sunlight or rain, the warranty will not apply.

You can add the Protective Cover (a cover similar to car covers) to your purchase as an extra, which should be used whenever LOTI is turned off, providing additional protection against external elements.

Unlike those who opt for unsupervised DIY solutions of freezers, it is not necessary to turn off the LOTI unit - in fact, it is vital to leave it on to ensure that it remains always grounded, providing continuous safety.

We ask that you connect the unit at least 2 meters away from the bathtub, as a precaution in case of water splashes on the socket, which could damage the domestic electrical system. The equipment comes factory-equipped with a 5-meter power cable to ensure safe installation.

LOTI uses filters to keep the water crystal clear without the need for aggressive chemicals like chlorine.

You should clean the inlet filter in the same way you clean the lint filter of a clothes dryer. This filter will collect lint from towels and clothes, hair, and other debris.

LOTI’s filters keep the water clean for months between changes. We recommend replacing the filter cartridge every 12 to 14 weeks, depending on usage.

LOTI uses an automatic disinfection system without the need for chemicals! After filtration, the water passes through a highly efficient UV Disinfection system, which eliminates impurities and microorganisms present in the water, such as bacteria, viruses, algae, and other pathogens. This system allows for effective water treatment, preserving health and the environment, resulting in cleaner and safer water for users.

Depending on usage frequency, only 2-3 water changes per year are recommended.

LOTI is designed with a simple and fast drainage system to allow water replacement whenever necessary. Furthermore, with proper maintenance, water can last up to 3 to 4 months without needing to be changed (depending on the level of usage and the number of different users).

This drainage system can be connected directly to your common garden hose, allowing you to use LOTI’s pump to discharge water into a household or outdoor drain. Alternatively, you can use the water for gardening, thus promoting a more responsible use of this resource.

LOTI only needs to change the water in case of unexpected contamination; however, it is advisable to change it every 3 to 4 months.

LOTI offers a minimum 2-year warranty, which includes the replacement of parts with manufacturing defects and covers defects or malfunctions that occur during normal conditions of use. However, the warranty does not cover damages resulting from the addition of chemicals to the water, violation of the installation conditions indicated in the equipment manual, negligence in maintenance and filter replacement, power failure, lack of attention to low water flow, or any other form of negligence, misuse, or abuse.

Additionally, certain other exclusions apply, as described in the limited warranty. This limited warranty is only valid for defects discovered within the applicable warranty period and while LOTI is in the possession of the original buyer (or original owner if acquired as a gift).

All parts covered by this warranty have a minimum 2-year warranty from the delivery date, except for the insulated top cover, which has a 1-year warranty.

*Professional use covers the same aforementioned conditions with a minimum 1-year warranty.
